Sustainability

A journey, not a badge.

Plenty of brands talk about sustainability. Fewer talk about what they actually do — and even fewer talk about what they don't do yet. We'd rather be honest than impressive.

By the numbers

What sustainability looks like in real terms.

Concrete numbers, not vague claims. This is what choosing organic cotton actually means.

500 yrs Plastic in landfill

Time a conventional pad takes to break down.

Months Cotton biodegrades

Organic cotton fibres return to the soil naturally.

0% Chlorine bleach

Whitened with safer, oxygen-based methods.

100% Recyclable cartons

Outer packaging made from recyclable paperboard.

Where we stand

Honesty over theatre.

Three lists. What we do today. What we're working on. What we won't do.

What we do today

Concrete steps already in place

  • 100% organic cotton.Grown without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and biodegradable in months rather than centuries.
  • Chlorine-free whitening. We use safer, oxygen-based methods that meet international safety standards.
  • Recyclable outer packaging. Our cartons are made from fully recyclable paperboard.
  • ISO-certified manufacturing.Made in facilities meeting international environmental and quality standards.
  • Lab-tested transparency. We publish what's in our pads and what isn't, with independent test results to back it up.
What we're working on

Honest about what comes next

  • Subscription delivery.Fewer, larger shipments. Less packaging. A discount for you. Coming soon.
  • Plastic-reduction roadmap. Some pad components still rely on small amounts of plastic. We're actively researching alternatives that don't compromise performance.
  • Local-region sourcing.Long-term, we want more of our supply chain rooted in the region.
  • Carbon footprint baseline. We're working on measuring our footprint properly before making claims about it.
  • Refill and reuse formats. We're exploring formats that reduce single-use packaging without compromising hygiene or convenience.
What we won't do

Lines we don't cross

  • No greenwashing. We don't use vague words like "eco-friendly" or "natural" without specifics behind them.
  • No carbon-offset theatre.Until we can measure our footprint accurately, we won't buy our way to a "carbon neutral" badge.
  • No fake certifications.Every certification we display is real, current, and independently verifiable.
  • No animal testing.Ever. Period care never needs it.
  • No hidden ingredients.Every material in our pads is disclosed. If we can't tell you what something is, it doesn't go in.
How you can help

Small choices, add up.

Three simple things you can do that genuinely matter.

  1. 1
Recycle the outer carton Pop it in your paper recycling — our outer cartons are made from fully recyclable paperboard.
  2. 2
Choose subscription delivery (coming soon) One bigger delivery beats three smaller ones — fewer miles, less packaging, and a discount for you.

Built in the Kingdom, with the Kingdom.

Sustainability is one of the pillars of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 — a future where local entrepreneurs build globally competitive brands, where women's wellbeing is prioritised, and where environmental responsibility is woven into everyday life.

Blossom Wings is one small contribution to that bigger picture: a homegrown brand, in a category long dominated by foreign giants, raising the bar on quality, transparency, and care.
