Our organic cotton sanitary pads have an organic cotton topsheet, the one layer that touches your skin. Beneath it: airlaid paper, a super-absorbent polymer (SAP) core, more airlaid paper and a PE backsheet. The organic cotton is the topsheet only. Every pad is fragrance-free, no added dyes.
Why does it matter in Saudi heat? A pad sits against your skin for hours, and a plastic topsheet can hold in warmth and moisture. Many women find soft, natural cotton more comfortable on hot days.
Which size for which day?
-
Day Pads 180mm: light days, everyday wear, no wings, 30 pads a pack, from SAR 1.00 a pad.
-
Day Pads 260mm: moderate flow during the day, with wings, from SAR 2.60 a pad.
-
Night Pads 330mm: heavy flow and overnight, with wings, from SAR 3.00 a pad.
Need all three? The Cycle Set costs less than buying the three packs separately.
In the samples tested, our Night Pad 330mm absorbed 50 times its own weight in 27 seconds (Intertek), and GALAB detected none of nine chemical families. The pads hold SABER product conformity for Saudi Arabia. Full results are on our facts page.
What if pads irritate your skin?
No pad can prevent irritation, but added fragrance and trapped heat are well-known triggers. A fragrance-free pad with a cotton topsheet avoids the first and puts cotton, not plastic, against your skin. Read what commonly triggers pad irritation, and if it continues, see a doctor.
What is the difference between cotton pads and regular pads?
The main difference is the topsheet. Many regular pads use a synthetic or plastic topsheet; ours is organic cotton. Both usually rely on a super-absorbent polymer core, and we say so openly. To compare by flow, see our guide to the best sanitary pads in Saudi Arabia.
